Tawheed
وَإِلَهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ لاَّ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ
And your God is one God! There is no god but He. (AL-QUR'AN 2:163)
Learning about Allah right from the childhood is very important in order to grow up to be good practicing muslims. But the first essential thing that every muslim must learn and act upon is Tawheed (Belief in the Oneness of Allah) as it is the core of all things in Islam. It is the condition for acceptance of our worship and acting against Tawheed is disobedience to Allah as Allah says,
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا
يَغۡفِرُ اَنۡ يُّشۡرَكَ بِهٖ وَيَغۡفِرُ مَا دُوۡنَ ذٰ لِكَ لِمَنۡ يَّشَآءُ ؕ وَمَنۡ يُّشۡرِكۡ بِاللّٰهِ فَقَدۡ ضَلَّ ضَلٰلًاۢ بَعِيۡدًا
Truly it is only associating others with Allah in His divinity that Allah does not forgive,144 and forgives anything besides that to whomsoever He wills.
Whoever associates others with Allah in His divinity has indeed strayed far away. (AL-QUR'AN 4:116)
In this class the kids will learn about their creator Allah, Memorize the Shahadah and Names of Allah. Learning the Pillars of Islam and Eeman are also included.
